Dr. Sherif is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, boasting over 25 years of expertise. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Gynaecology at St. John of God, Midland Private Hospital, Perth, Australia. He stands out as an advanced endoscopic (key-hole) surgeon, proficient in addressing various gynaecological issues.

Dr. Sherif's educational journey took him to the United Kingdom, where he completed his postgraduate training and conducted medical research. He holds prestigious fellowships from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK, The American College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the International College of Surgeons in the USA.
His extensive training in fertility & gynaecology, as well as advanced endoscopic and robotic surgical skills, was acquired in renowned training units across the UK, France, New Zealand and Australia. Dr. Sherif further enhanced his qualifications by earning a Diploma in Gynaecological Operative Endoscopic Surgery from France and a Master's degree in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine from the UK. He also holds the title of Fellow of the International College of Surgeons.

​Access to timely and expert care for complex and advanced endometriosis remains limited across Australia—particularly in Western Australia. Many women face prolonged waiting periods and fragmented services when managing deep endometriosis involving multiple organs.
 
To bridge this gap, we established a dedicated Advanced Surgical Endometriosis Service at Midland Gynaecology Private Rooms. Over the past three years, this service has transformed care for women with severe or multi-organ disease.
